Thanksgiving for the life of
Michael Toogood (1936-2023)
Michael led churches at Bexleyheath, New Cross, and Thamesmead as well as in Soho. He also had a wider ministry as he shared news about his church planting work and as he was invited to speak on special occasions elsewhere. In retirement he continued to serve as he was able, and maintained a personal pastoral connection with a number of people. We look forward to welcoming any who would like to join us as we remember him.
Programme
In the morning session there will be an opportunity to share personal memories of Michael's ministry. We will also reflect on changes since he began the work in Soho, and ask how his example can challenge us in gospel work in the West End today.
After lunch we will worship God as we thank him for Michael's faithful service and hear from God's word.
Food & Drink
Hot drinks will be provided but we ask that you bring your own lunch (there are also a good number of places to buy lunch in the local area).
